With summer fast approaching on planet Earth, Zee Zees own reporter Zula has been wondering how her human friends plan on spending their time off of school. Zula caught up with friends Kelly, Nikki, Todd, and Patrick to get an idea of what they'll be doing for fun during the warm summer months. Kelly: I'm most excited to play softball with my friends! We go to the park and we always end up having so much fun every time we play. It's really easy to forget that I'm even exercising, and it's an awesome way to keep up with people from school during summer vacation while also making new friends. Nikki: I go on a road trip with my family somewhere different every year, and it's always so much fun to see new sights and visit cities I haven't been to before. The car rides can take a while, but I just play games with my sisters in the back seat. It's always a great way to pass the time before our next stop. Todd: One of the things I always look forward to every summer is going to a camp ground with my friends and family. We have a great time hiking around during the day before going to our tent to settle down at night where we all sit around a campfire telling stories while making s'mores! Patrick: Every spring I start to plant seeds in my garden, and in the summer I end up with beautiful flowers and delicious fresh vegetables! Gardening is just so relaxing, but it does take dedication and hard work. The result makes the time waited much more than worth it. With warm weather comes nearly endless possibilities outdoors, and now Zula has a few ideas for how she may spend her summer afternoons with the Zee Zees after chatting with her friends. One thing is for sure, they'll all be having an incredible time in the sunshine anywhere and everywhere they go! Planning a summer vacation trip with your kids?
