If you know anything at all about the Zee Zees, you probably know that they make a deliciously healthy applesauce, and if you know that, then we wouldn't be too surprised if you also happen to know quite a few people who eat a whole lot of it. That most likely means 2 things: #1: You know people with great taste. #2: You know people with a lot of empty applesauce containers. Well, now that we've established that you know someone with great taste and can give you access to a bunch of empty applesauce containers, there's a great way to reward them for healthy eating and also do a little responsible recycling for Mother Earth while you're at it - trophies! All you need is gold spray-paint, some popsicle sticks, some colored markers, a little cardboard, some glue or tape, and of course empty Zee Zees applesauce containers. Once you've gathered everything you need, take your materials to a safe spot to paint them (outside works perfect). After they're dry, cut a slit in the bottom of the containers just big enough to put a popsicle stick through to stand up securely. Then cut a fun shape out of the cardboard you've painted, and use a marker to write the name of the award and who it goes to on it. Then use your' glue or tape to secure your cardboard to the popsicle stick and your trophy is finally ready to be awarded. Just remember to make sure you give yourself one for all your hard work - you deserve it! BONUS: If you just can't get enough of giving out awards, the pull-off lids from the applesauce containers also make great make-shift medals. All you need to be a champion recycler is some gold, silver, and bronze paint, and a little string.
