There are a couple kinds of treat givers. You've got your classic candy houses, the chip houses, the king-size houses, the popcorn ball houses, the money houses, and of course the 'take one piece' candy bowl houses. The Zee Zees haven't been on Earth for all that long, but they've been around long enough to know that there's room for a new kind of house on the block. The Soft Baked Bar kind of house. For the Zee Zees, this new kind of treat-giving is no trick'they're doing it up right. They're the ones passing out the goodies this year, so dressing up as humans seemed only natural. They settled on the kind of person they admired, Zed as a surfer, Zoomer as a robot, Ozzy as a rockstar, Zacky as a scientist. Zeelo had a hard time deciding who she wanted to be and just decided she was going to be sleepy, and put on a pair of pajamas. Bars, check. Costumes, check. Decorating the house came next. There were disco balls, streamers, music, lights, and the Applesaucer parked on the front lawn'the d'cor was as fun as the bars waiting for kids at the door. With nighttime quickly approaching the Zee Zees filled their bowls with bars, changed the battery in the doorbell, and woke up Zeelo. Everything was ready. The house wasn't scary, but that wasn't the point. It was looking scary-fun, and that was definitely the goal. After darkness settled in they heard it'the first ring and the first 'trick or treat!' The gang rushed to the door with their bowls of bars ready to show the kids the kind of treats that would put their house on the map. Excitement soon turned to surprise when the ghouls and goblins they expected on the other side weren't there. It was a group of Zee Zees! Mezlo? Gizmo? Larz? What were they doing here? The gang got their answer when a small boy poked his head out from the opening in Mezlo's mouth. They were just costumes. 'Trick or treat!' the kids said again. And each one of them got two Strawberry Crisp Soft Baked Bars for creativity. They said thanks, turned away, and walked away to the next house. The Zee Zees smiled and looked at each other knowing that what they gave was just as sweet as what they got from the kids.
