There are many different ways to celebrate the holidays here on Earth. Any way you choose to celebrate, the best part is that it's a special time of year where human beings can enjoy getting together and spending time with their family and friends. Even though they may not be human beings, it sure doesn't mean the Zee Zees are any different from earthlings. They love getting together and celebrating the traditions from their home-world with each other. Some of us travel great distances to be with the people we care about during the holidays- think about all the long drives you and your parents may have made to your grandparent's house. Well, since the Zee Zees are from outer space they have to go a little further. You may have to go through the woods and over the river to get to your grandmother's house, but the Zee Zees have to go over the moon and through the asteroid belt if they want to see their GranZee. When they Zee Zees eventually do make it back home for the holidays, they like to take part in their family traditions just like you do, but being from a different planet, they do things just a little bit differently. Instead of giving wrapped gifts and decorating trees though, they love synchronized swimming in applesauce and decorating their furniture with tinfoil. While your family might hang stockings by the fireplace and drink eggnog, the Zee Zees like to hang disco balls and drink guacamole smoothies. It's important to remember that whatever world you call home, and however you celebrate, one thing about the holidays is the same for everybody- being able to take a little time each year to truly appreciate everything you have and everyone in your life is what the holiday season is really all about.
