If you had to describe the first day of winter to someone from another planet how would you describe it? Cold? Snowy? Cloudy? If you live in a warmer climate, maybe more rain? Those things paint a picture of what winter is—but what does winter really feel like? The Zee Zees, who are still very new to the weather and happenings of Earth, might need some clarification. With the first official day of winter just around the corner (December 21st) we’ve prepared a list of firsts to jog your memory.
It’s December, and you know what that means? It’s cookie season! Throughout this month you may find yourself attending holiday party after holiday party eating cookie after cookie. Nothing sets the holiday mood like building a good ol’ fashioned gingerbread house, especially when you’re the Zee Zees. They may be new to Earth, but there’s nothing they love more than sharing something new they’ve learned with everyone they meet. The Zee Zees love to use their imagination, so they’ve put their own unique spin on the traditional gingerbread house and built their very own Zee Zee gingerbread house. They’ve included a great template that you can print to build your very own. Just remember, the only limitation for building yours is your own imagination. Have fun!

“What kind of applesauce would you like?” Mezlo asked once he reached his friend.
“Oh, I’ve never really liked applesauce,” Mezlo’s human friend said. “I’ve always been kind of a picky eater.” Mezlo gasped in delight. A picky eater! How marvelous! It had been so long since the last Picky Eaterz Contest, Mezlo couldn’t wait to cook up something fun for this next one.

When Zelen’s friend told her that fall meant the fields would be turned into a giant corn maze, Zelen knew what she had to do. She called up her Zee Zee pals and asked if anyone wanted to explore the cornfields with her one last time...
